During this workshop, we will explore the latest advancements in translation technologies, translation tools and AI-driven solutions (i.e. machine translation, Chat GPTs, etc.) and their profound impacts on translators.
This workshop is ideal for language enthusiasts, professional translators, students, and anyone interested in the today and future of translation and language technologies.
In this workshop, we will take a close look at the alternative business models in the translation industry. We’ll examine successful case studies of translators who have adopted approaches to their business and translation practices. Through interactive discussions and group activities, we will explore the feasibility of incorporating these alternative models into our own professional contexts.
In this interactive forum, we will delve into the pressing issues surrounding working conditions in the translation industry. Together, we will explore our work related problems, potential solutions and identify actionable ways to create a positive impact on our professional lives. This is an excellent opportunity to share experiences, exchange insights, and gain valuable perspectives from fellow translators.
Keeping in mind that ‘a life without dancing is a not worth living’, we’ve added many easy-to-learn and practice dance workshops with group activities in the festival programme.
Many dance performers and workshop facilitators will be ready to help, guide and invite us with a series of performances and activities across the squares of the villages of Kastro, Gliki, Aya Teodoroi and Shinudi.
The participatory dances will be open to dancers of all abilities (no experience necessary!)
